Yacht Week

This week we were asked to participate in one of Yacht Week's raft-ups. As you can see from the picture, it is a thing of beauty. First, huge kudos to the captains and hosts aboard the Navigare Yachts. The skill and professionalism of these captains as they effortlessly maneuvered their catamarans into this "tunnel" raft-up. It was a thing of beauty. Once secured, that is when the party started. They wisely chose a remote spot off Prickly Pear island in the North Sound to avoid the crowds of the other mooring fields. The guests? Well they come from all over the world. Some just sign up to be on a boat without knowing any of the other guests while others will preplan their entire crew.
